My weight was pretty good until my late 40s, then suddenly the number on the scale started to climb, and eventually got into the UNHEALTHY range. I tried eating less and moving more, but it didn't work. I used an app based program, but it turned into a yo-yo diet. At 53, I thought I was stuck being overweight. Then I researched what was different about our bodies around menopause and saw how it could be possible to lose the weight at this age. I got some coaching, where I was able to make some small but powerful mindset changes that made weight loss even easier! I decided to share this method with other professional women who shared my struggle.

I’m a Midwesterner, but I have also lived on both coasts. I was born in Michigan, went to medical school at the University of Minnesota, and did my Family Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, St. Margaret’s Hospital. I'm a Certified Life and Weight Loss Coach, with additional coach training in Positive Intelligence.

I’m back in Minnesota and love that it’s home to interesting people from everywhere. It’s a place where you can do something fun outdoors almost any day of the year. In summer, my husband and I go to the local lakes with our teenagers, and in winter we play in the snow. 

I’m thrilled to share this proven system that makes weight loss simple and permanent. I’d love to be your guide!
